AtariPhileIn March 1996 Kev Beardsworth, staff writer for Atari World magazine, called Colin Fisher-McAllum with the sad news that Atari World was closing and he, Kev, was being made redundant. They were in the process of producing the HTML pages for the Falcon FacTT File and decided to put some extra articles and effort into this production and make the issue more magazine-like. AtariPhile was born. Since then many people have contributed towards its success and in latter issues Domhnall Dods joined the editorial team. A lot of time and effort goes into AtariPhile. With work and personal commitments it has been a strain for the three of us to produce recent issues and the publication dates have been put further and further back. We feel we are unable to give the level of commitment necessary to produce AtariPhile. Therefore, the next issue [AP#6] will be the last. We would like to thank all that freely gave their time and articles to the publication and also all those of you that have read AtariPhile. The Atari scene is still well supported by enthusiastic disk mags and the excellent Atari Computing magazine. We, the AtariPhile editorial team, offer our full support to Atari Computing and hope to be able to contribute in some small way to its continuing success. Regards, Kevin Beardsworth, Domhnall Dods and Colin Fisher-McAllum
